Reina Ready To Help Man Utd

Pepe Reina said that he's ready to help Manchester United's new goal keeper David De Gea if he needs advice.


Asked if he would help his spanish counterpart crossing the divide to help his rival, Reina said: "I don't know him personally – we have played against each other a few times but I don't have a problem with whatever he needs. I imagine that he can get my telephone number from any friend that we have in common."
Asked if he was contacted by United as they searched for Edwin Van der Sar's replacement, his somewhat evasive answer suggested there was a moment at the end of last year when a move to Old Trafford became a possibility.
He said: "That doesn't matter now. I imagine they had a group of keepers that they were looking at and in the end the one they ended up pushing for was De Gea and I think that they have not got it wrong, far from it, he is going to give great service."
 

Possible New Signings This Season:Kenny Dalglish

Kenny Dalglish has hinted for more signings before the end of the transfer window 2011/12.

Jordan Henderson, Charlie Adam, Stewart Downing, Alexander Doni and Jose Enrique are the new players added by Dalglish this season and more are expected to join Anfield this summer.


Liverpool has been linked with Stoke's Ryan Shawcross, Bolton's Gary Cahill and Birmingham's Scott Dann ahead of a 31st August transfer deadline.

He said,"Until the transfer window shuts, the most honest answer I can give is, 'I don't know'."
Asked whether Enrique could be Liverpool's final acquisition of the summer, Dalglish, who signed as manager on a permanent basis in May, is quoted as saying: "I don't know - it's the same as I don't know if that's your last question!
"I cannot answer it honestly. I suppose it's a little bit like last year when I was asked, 'when are you signing the contract?' or, 'have you been asked to sign?' - until the transfer window shuts, the most honest answer I can give is, 'I don't know'."

Raul Meireles Move To Chelsea

Raul Meireles is now supposed to be targeted by Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas.
It is known that Kenny Dalglish has asked for striker Daniel Sturridge in exchange.
Daniel Andre Sturridge (born 1 September 1989) is an English footballer. He started his professional career at Manchester City, where he played in two FA Youth Cup finals. He made his first team debut in 2007, and

scored his first goal in January 2008. Over the course of 2008–09 season, Sturridge became the only player ever to score in the FA Youth Cup, FA Cup and Premier League in the same season. Mainly used as an impact substitute at Manchester City, he left the club in 2009 after failing to agree a new contract, and signed for Chelsea who loaned him to Bolton Wanderers in the second half of the 2010-11 season.

Kenny Speaks About Injury Issues

Kenny Dalglish admits that Glen Johnson will ruled out due to injuries meanwhile Daniel Agger will be in the Liverpool squad to face Arsenal.
Agger suffered a dead leg in the opening day draw with Sunderland last week.
Dalglish has to choose between youngster John Flanagan, who started against Sunderland, or go with the fit-again with Martin Kelly at right back.
Dirk Kuyt, who started on the bench against Steve Bruce's men, says he is fit to feature against Arsenal.

Two Strikers To Leave Liverpool

Nabil El Zhar and David Ngog will be leaving Liverpool this season.

Zhar will be joining Spanish side Levante and Ngog is suppose to be joining Bolton.

The Moroccan international Zhar had a year remaining on his contract but had become surplus to requirements, after playing his last game for the Reds in May 2010.
The likely exit of the 22-year-old may well free up some funds for Kenny Dalglish, who admits he will need to sell before he can bring in anymore new faces.

Liverpool is looking for a strong center back after signing left back enrique, and Bolton defender Gary Cahill is the target.
The Reds have already signed Newcastle left-back Jose Enrique, and are on the look-out for a new centre-back as the team continues to shape for the future.

Liverpool Chief Confirms Raul Meirless Stay In Liverpool

Liverpool chief Damien Comolli has confirmed the stay of  Raul Meireles in Liverpool.
The Portugal midfielder was linked with a move away this summer and Italian sources say Udinese are willing to pay €11 million for his transfer.
Comolli clearly said: "Raul is not for sale."
Meireles is waiting for new contract talks to be opened at Liverpool.

Villa Park has been the home of Aston Villa since 1897. The stadium has hosted many prestigious games including three matches during the 1966 World Cup and four Euro 96 games. It has also played host to a number of FA Cup semi-finals including the 99 replay between Manchester United and Arsenal in which Ryan Giggs scored his famous 'wonder goal' as he turned the Gunners defence inside out. Until 1914, a cycling track ran around the perimeter of the pitch, hosting many cycling and athletics events. The stadium has also staged a number of concerts in the past and has even held religious gatherings. The club are planning to rebuild the North Stand, turning Villa Park into a 50,000-seater stadium.

Gerrard Recovering Faster From Injury-Dalglish

According to latest updates,Captain Steven Gerrard is recovering faster than predicted from the groin infection.
He was admitted to hospital last week due to infection and he it is said that he will miss the start of the forthcoming campaign because of  infection.
At a press conference to introduce summer signings Stewart Downing, Charlie Adam, Jordan Henderson and Alexander Doni, Dalglish said: "Steven won't be too far away. All the tests that have come back are far better than what was anticipated so we're delighted with that for him.

Liverpool have struct a deal for left-back Jose Enrique with Newcastle United .
 Liverpool agreed deal of  £10million for the Spanish defender.

Liverpool's new target is now the Ivorian teenage striker Angban Bekanty Victorien. The news was confirmed from the president of Stade d'Abidjan.
Abi Koffi Richmond, says nothing has been agreed with him yet and other sides are also interested in the youngster.
He said,"Liverpool has not agreed anything with me yet, I have nothing written.
"They are a great club and respected club, I do not need to tell them how to do their work.
"I have contact from them through some agents but they are not the only club interested in the boy."
