Jeffren Suarez, 23 , who came on as a substitute against Real Madrid in El Clásico-2010 at the Camp Nou to score the fifth and final goal in a historic 5-0 win, is looking forward to compete in highest level as he has not found first-team opportunities the Barca.
He has been recommended by Liverpool's chief Damien Comolli to Reds boss Kenny Dalglish.
Jeffren had been strongly linked with a move to Italian Clubs but the player's father, Efren, insists he will not play in Serie A and has opened the door for an English club to make their move.
Efren said: "Playing in Italy is not a good option for Jeffren. He has more attractive offers from Spain and England."
